"Sapporo Clock Tower" continues to be loved as a famous spot representing Sapporo City and as a clock tower that tells the citizens of time. It was built in 1878 as a facility of Sapporo Agricultural School, the predecessor of Hokkaido University, as its official name, "Former Sapporo Agricultural School Enbuba".
