Sapporo-shi Clock Tower
"Sapporo Clock Tower" continues to be loved as a famous spot representing Sapporo City and as a clock tower that tells the citizens of time. It was built in 1878 as a facility of Sapporo Agricultural School, the predecessor of Hokkaido University, as the official name "Old Sapporo Agricultural School Enbujo". It was designated as a national important cultural property in June 1970. It is popular for commemorative photography, and it is lit up with sunset and the clock tower at night is recommended.
