Odori Park, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2011, is a 3-minute walk from Sapporo Univ. Street Park in Grand Mercure. Many tourists throughout the year with beautiful seasonal plants and events such as beautiful flower beds and lawns, 4,700 trees of about 90 species, lilac festival that tells the arrival of early summer, YOSAKOI Soran festival, snow festival and white illumination. It is popular with citizens and is recommended for walks.
