Odori Park

Odori Park, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2011, is about 3 minutes on foot from Sapporo Univ. Street Park, Grand Mercure. In addition to beautiful flower beds and lawns, 4,700 trees of about 90 species, beautiful plants and events throughout the year, such as the Lilac Festival, which tells the arrival of early summer, the YOSAKOI Soran Festival, the Snow Festival and White Illumination, etc. It is popular with tourists and citizens, and is recommended for walks.
