Odori Park, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2011 since it was fully developed by Anhei Nagaoka, a pioneer in modern parks, is about a 3-minute walk from Grand Mercure Sapporo Odori Park. In addition to beautiful flower beds and lawns, 4,700 trees of about 90 species, beautiful plants and events of the four seasons, such as the lilac festival, YOSAKOI Soran Festival, Snow Festival and White Illumination, many tourists throughout the year. It is popular with tourists and citizens, and is recommended for walks.
